Special Note: There is a tendency with younger ringette players to leave their sticks long so they don’t need to be replaced as often. We HIGHLY recommend against this as it does not develop proper techniques as they learn shooting, passing, and checking. While the rulebook states sticks must be no higher than the player’s underarm while wearing skates, we recommend that the stick come up to the middle of their chest (with skates on). Please watch the video that addresses this issue and common questions: Ringette Stick Length
